⭐ **1 Star – Nothing “Instant” About This Oil Change. Extremely Poor Time Management and Customer Service.** Valvoline advertises a **15-minute instant oil change**, but what they conveniently fail to mention is that you could spend 45 minutes or longer just waiting in line before your vehicle is even serviced. I arrived at approximately 1:55–2:00 PM, and by 2:50 PM, I was still dealing with this process. Nearly an hour for a service advertised as taking just 15 minutes. To make matters worse, **this is a company vehicle that requires service authorization through our company's fleet maintenance provider.** Rather than verifying and obtaining the necessary approval while I was waiting in line, the employees waited until I was already inside the service bay to address the authorization process. Now, after waiting to get into the bay, I'm being directed to wait outside in the parking lot while they determine whether the oil change is even approved through our fleet service provider. **Why wasn't this authorization process initiated during the lengthy wait before entering the service bay?** This is a complete lack of planning, communication, and efficiency. Fleet vehicles requiring third-party authorization are nothing unusual, and a company advertising fast, convenient service should have a better process in place to handle them. I understand that businesses get busy and that fleet approvals can take additional time. However, there is absolutely no reason to wait until a customer reaches the service bay before beginning a process that could have been addressed much earlier. As someone driving a company vehicle during the workday, my time matters. Every unnecessary minute spent waiting is time taken away from my actual job responsibilities. **Bottom line: Valvoline needs to seriously reconsider its “15-minute oil change” advertising and improve how it handles fleet vehicles and service authorizations.** Between the excessive wait times, poor communication, and inefficient approval process, this experience has been extremely disappointing. **If you're bringing a company fleet vehicle here, be prepared to waste a significant amount of time. There is absolutely nothing “instant” about this experience!**
