Was getting my oil changed and they asked if I wanted to change my air filter as well (key worked asked me, not told me they needed to). I said sure. Couple minutes later the tech tells me they actually can’t change the air filter as they don’t have the correct part for my car. Okay, that’s fine not what I’m here for anyways. The technician then runs through what they did for my car and what the price will be. The technician tells me all they did was change the oil filter. I’m confused, and ask why he didn’t change the oil itself. He tells me they couldn’t, because they couldn’t change the air filter. I tell him I’ve both been to valvoline and changed the oil on my car myself many times, and the air filter has never been needed to be changed. The technician says sorry, but doesn’t give me any explanation further than the previously given reason of not being able to change the air filter. With hindsight, I thought maybe he misspoke or I misunderstood and mixed up the air filter and oil filter, but even the receipt states they did change my oil filter. So thanks for wasting my time

It was fine, but they didn't fill up the tires, which was part of the reason I took it in at the time I did. Just annoying to have to make a second trip. Otherwise, they are pleasant and friendly.
