Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Extremely Disappointing and Dishonest Service - Avoid! I am posting this again since you deleted it I recently visited this Valvoline location for a standard oil change and was thoroughly disappointed by their dishonest and predatory sales tactics. The final bill came to an unacceptable $95 for what should have been a basic service. The sales pressure began immediately. I was presented with two oil options: a standard $85 service and a premium $145 option. The technician aggressively pushed the expensive $145 option, falsely claiming that the cheaper oil would "burn faster" in my car. After rejecting that massive upcharge, the battle continued. They attempted to charge me extra for simple items that should be included, such as adding air to my tires, which is a complimentary service offered at nearly every service station. The most absurd attempt at an upcharge involved the oil tube. I was told I had to pay extra because my car's oil tube was "a little bit longer" than standard. This is frankly ridiculous and appears to be a manufactured excuse to increase the price on unsuspecting customers. The experience made me realize how this business likely treats people who don't have technical knowledge about their cars—by taking advantage of them. The service was bad, the pricing was unfair, and the attempts to trick me into paying more for routine items were completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding this location. They do not deserve a single star, and I certainly will not be returning.

My tech, Cameron, was wonderful! He took the time to explain all services to my 9-year-old son, and even showed him how to change the wiper blades. I am always pleased with my service when I visit Milford Valvoline, and this day was no exception. I appreciate the friendly staff and their attention to detail. I will definitely continue coming!
