The message on my car said, Coolant level low. I have been a customer at another oil change place just about 1/2 mile on the same street. They would not fill the coolant for me even though it only needed a small amount to bring it up to the required amount to be considered full. The reason that was given is that the coolant for the Saab was too expensive. When I pulled into Valvoline, i relayed this to the manager. Right away the techs started to check all of the fluids. They told me that the coolant was a bit low and filled it to the required amount. They explained that the coolant was appropriate for my 2004 Saab 9-5. After checking the tires the manager told me that they would be happy to service my car in the future if I wanted to bring it back. I told them that I will be returning. When I turned the car on to leave I noticed that the message about the coolant being low gone.
