I’ve been a regular customer for years and never had any issues until recently. I took my car in for an oil change and then the next day all the oil had leaked out from the oil pan. it was around $100 to refill it with oil and then it landed my car in another shop for a few days diagnosing the problem which came to around $500. they weren’t sure what was causing the leak so they installed a few “common failure points” to be safe which was around $400. the shop went through everything trying to diagnose the problem and it ended up being a broken drain plug in my oil pan. I called Valvoline to be reimbursed for the shop visit and the oil and they denied my claim. They said that “the summer heat” caused my oil drain plug to break. in total, that oil change set me back close to a thousand dollars. and then to be talked to on the phone like i’m an idiot was just insult to injury. very sad.

Oil change went great. Went to have transmission fluid changed as well. Turns out the location i was at didnt have enough oil to do it so they sent me 15 mins across town to a location that had enough. Drove across the city and got to the other location just for them to tell me they couldn’t change it at all due to the kind of transmission i had. Would have been nice to know before i drove across town.
