They were completely out of conventional oil. They would not honor my coupon for a blend. The tech was going to drive to Apple valley or lakeville to get some. But I wasn’t going to sit in a 100 degree truck for 45 minutes while her went to fill up a container. What a joke! How does oil change place run out of oil. Sounds like a scam to me to get upgraded services. The tech said it’s been happening a lot

Everything was fine for a while. I visited the Eagan location once and the Rosemount location twice. I went there for an oil change because my regular mechanic was busy. While the speed of service was exceptional, the quality was very poor. Recently, my mechanic became available, so I went to him for an inspection, diagnostics, and an oil change. Here is what he discovered: 1. Screws were missing from the engine under-shield, and some were even snapped off. 2. The oil plug had been replaced with a low-quality aftermarket version for some reason (I don't understand why). 3. The engine air filter wasn't secured—it had simply been placed inside the housing. The housing itself wasn't fastened properly; it was held by a single screw, while the threads for the others were stripped. 4. For some reason, the wires leading to the hood-closed sensor had been ripped from their mounts. I gather that Valvoline hires people who aren't trained to do quality work. If you want to risk your safety, then by all means, go visit these guys—whose hands clearly grow out of the wrong place!
