I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because it's been brutally hot here but... Once I started denying service and simply mentioned, "I'm just here for an oil change today. I'm not interested in any other services but thanks for showing me your recommendation screen." The employee walked off without explanation and returned about 10m8ns later with his phone in his hand. It's ok. There's another Valvoline closer to some of my other destinations so I may give one of those a try.
