The folks at this Valvoline location are great, and that has made it my usual stop for an oil change. Occasionally, I'll need a full service garage and will get my oil change at the same time as that service, but otherwise I come to this location. The staff are friendly, thoughtful, knowledgeable and quick. On this occasion, I had questions about some of the recommended services (cost, how long they take) and while I didn't have them at this visit, I am planning to take care of them at my next visit, in large part because of the courtesy and consideration of your team. My experience at the Valvoline location was excellent. The day after the service, Monday July 1st my oil pressure light came on followed shortly by my check engine light. I pulled over and checked the oil, which was very low. I added 3 qts of oil and made it back to my summer place in Monticello. Oil light came back on during the drive and check engine just before my place. Contacted Hyundai 24/7 support center and they recommended not driving the car and getting it to the nearest Hyundai dealership. Tues morning July 2nd, I had AAA tow the car to Suresky Hyundai in Goshen, NY. Hyundai informed me that the Valvoline Tech that worked on my car (2023 Hyundai Sonata) did not replace the gasket on the oil filter cup. This resulted in me losing almost all of the oil in my car while driving the 100+ miles over the next 24 hours. Hyundai performed a full diagnostic review and full oil change with new filter and gasket. This cost me an additional $600 to Hyundai for the diagnostic reviews and work performed. I understand mistakes occur, but this is what Valvoline does for a living. It's just unacceptable. Greg Mason
