Came in due to car overheating, they topped off antifreeze reservoir, told us we needed a new reservoir, then changed their mind on the dx. I said to just leave it and I’d deal with it later(with a shop that could actually tell why it was overheating. Tried to have oilChange done, the staff claimed that the bolts on the shield cover were rusted and that was why they snapped a bolt off inside it-now requiring me to tap out the broken bolt-which wasn’t At all rusted, and indeed snapped from the person removing the bolts using unequal pressure on the bolt during removal. I didn’t want to work on the car. I do most of our car work, this is my husbands work car, he drives it to commute daily, but this Saturday we came in after a whole bad day-it was super hot and humid and we couldn’t use the ac in the car while we sat there and baked. If I’d realized they didn’t know what they were looking at, I’d have dealt with the car somewhere else.
