Immediately following my oil change, i noticed oil spotting on my newly sealed driveway. I took the vehicle back just to see if maybe the oil filter wasn't tight or drain bolt in oil pan was loose. After brief inspection, on my revisit, Valvoline advised the filter was tight, the oil pan bolt was tight and the engine was leaking at the gasket. When I got home I personally checked the oil filter whcih I easily tightened approx 1 1/2 complete turns and the leak stopped. I would hope tightening the oil filter should be a basic checkpoint before oil is leaked on a customer's newly sealed driveway.
