Along with an oil change I asked for my cabin filter to be changed. One of the techs tried to remove my glove compartment to make the change but was having trouble. He called a second tech to remove the glove compartment but he had trouble as well. Neither rep said anything to me about the issue. Once the oil change was completed they told me I could drive away and I mentioned I wanted my cabin filter changed. At that point the tech told me he had a hard time removing the glove compartment and could not complete the service. I then asked him to find another tech to try or look up on YouTube how to remove the glove compartment. Then the tech told me he wanted me to wait for his manager to get to the store and try to remove the glove compartment or have his manager do it because he was worried about damaging the glove compartment. I had to bring my son to camp and could not wait for the manager to arrive. None of the techs felt comfortable removing the glove box without the manager supervising the request. I spent $127.00 on an oil change and none of the six people working at the site felt confident enough to remove my glove box and change my cabin filter.

The staff were very friendly and were able to complete my oil change quickly. The manager Taylor was super friendly and I even noticed he went up to every car waiting to greet himself. He even briefly interacted with my child! Once in the shop all the guys were welcoming even the workers on the other bay. Fabian and Patrick completed the job in a timely manner and explained the whole process. I live in the Croton on Hudson area and go out of my way for these guys. I will continue to recommend White Plains valvoline to my friends and coworkers. Great job guys! 👍🏼🤩
