I had an extremely frustrating experience at Valvoline. I went in for an oil change and to have my battery replaced. Unfortunately, the battery was removed incorrectly, and they did not have the correct replacement available. They had put the bad battery back in, and afterward I had serious electrical issues with my vehicle. They did not provide guidance on what I should do next, or what battery is needed for my car. My car kept dying, and I later found that the fuse had been damaged and the main ground cable had been left loose. I ultimately had to take my car to my own mechanic to get everything properly diagnosed and repaired. As a result, I missed three days of work and had to pay additional money for replacement parts and repairs. I was also disappointed with the oil change service. They did not have me check the new oil level afterward, which I expected as part of a proper oil-change service. I then spoke with managers Jonathan and Gregg about what happened. Unfortunately, the customer service afterward made the situation even worse. During my conversation with Gregg, he repeatedly interrupted me and would not let me fully explain what had happened. He was extremely rude, raised his voice at me, and insisted that I was wrong and that the problems with my car were my own fault. Rather than listening to my concerns or trying to resolve the situation professionally, I felt like he was more interested in arguing with me. Mistakes can happen, but what really bothered me was how the situation was handled afterward. I expected competent service and professional customer support, or at least some sort of refund and unfortunately I received neither. I had to spend additional money, miss three days of work, and take my vehicle somewhere else to have the issues properly addressed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this Valvoline or any.
