Paid $18 for a Texas state vehicle inspection, but the technician said they couldn’t connect to my Mercedes GLE 350’s OBD system. They didn’t provide any inspection report and refused to issue a refund. I then went to another inspection station the same day, and they completed the inspection successfully without any issues. Based on my experience, the problem appears to have been with this location’s equipment or process, not my vehicle. Very disappointed with how this was handled.

I visited your Valvoline location today for a state inspection. I was disappointed because several cars that arrived after me were serviced before mine. I understand that there may be different types of services, but no one explained why I had to wait while other customers who came later were taken first. It made me feel like my time wasn't valued. I have always had good experiences at Valvoline, so this was frustrating. I hope you can look into what happened and improve communication with customers in situations like this.
