Well first of all I have never waited in my car for an oil change, so that was kinda cool. The staff that was there greeted me in a timely manner and they knew what they were doing. They were even able to take off the digital reminder on my new car that I didn't know how to do.

Employee purposely didn't honor $25 coupon because I rejected to buy the filter. I told them about the coupon at the beginning and during and at the end of the service. When I got the receipt, I asked did you deduct the coupon and he said yes but the bill was showing full amount without discount and the explanation was they used extra oil for the car. Bit the receipt was showing only 4.8 qt. They purposely lied to me and cheated me.

My oil change took around 45 minutes to complete as I waited in my hot car. I asked what was taking so long about 30 minutes into the oil change and was informed that a new hire was being trained. I said I understand that can take some time and acknowledged. Come to find out that the oil tech cross threaded the oil pan screw, and a replacement was put in. This is a 6-month-old vehicle and very frustrated that this happened. I understand that a leak can occur from this due to the materials of the oil pan and oil pan screw. The manager Carol informed me that a chunk or dent on the original oil pan screw was observed, and that the replacement screw was utilized. I do not expect this type of incompetence from an oil change facility.

It was almost like he didn't want me to stay. The Tech had to ask where items were located. Just wasn't a good experience

This place is always polite, professional, and seems to want to do what's right by the customer. I initially popped in because they were open on a Sunday for an oil change, and have come back for other oil changes, battery replacements, and state inspections. I often complain about the fact that service is dying in the service industry, and the Valvoline location in Wylie serves as a beacon of great service in an otherwise desolate hellscape of miserable employees and maltreated customers.
